A vintage wooden Tutsi bowl, hand-carved from a single piece of wood and finished with tin repairs. Bowls like these were everyday vessels among the Tutsi people of East Africa, used to hold food, grains or ceremonial offerings.
With its graceful curves and smooth, polished surface, it carries the marks and patina of real use — part of its character, and no two are alike.
Size: approx. 10cm H × 33cm L × 17cm W.
