Collaborate · Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross
You bring the craft and your crowd. We bring a moss-clad room with genuine soul, a stocked wine & gin bar, and a setting your guests won't forget.
Pitch your eventWhy host here
Independent makers, facilitators and tasting hosts use our space to run beautiful evenings without the overheads of finding a venue and a bar from scratch.
Coal Drops Yard is one of London's most characterful design destinations, on six Tube lines and two mainline stations — an easy, memorable place to send your guests.
An on-site South African wine and gin bar, glassware and service come as standard — turn any workshop into a sip-and-make evening with no extra kit to haul in.
Preserved moss walls, trailing botanicals and warm natural textures. The space photographs beautifully — a gift for your promotion and your guests' phones.
We'll feature your event on our own Instagram and mailing list, and put it forward for the wider Coal Drops Yard and King's Cross channels where we can. You bring your following too.
Room fee, bar minimum, ticket split or revenue share — we'll shape the commercials around what makes your event work, not a rigid rate card.
Want a wine pairing alongside your tasting, or a terrarium element in your session? We can run our bit while you run yours.
The commercials
Every collaborator is different, so we keep this flexible. Tell us your numbers and your model and we'll come back with something that's fair for both of us. Common arrangements:
A flat hire for the session — you keep every ticket.
Reduced or no room fee against an agreed bar spend.
We co-promote and share ticket revenue on agreed terms.
A blended split across tickets and bar for recurring hosts.
Who we're looking for
If your craft is sensory, hands-on and looks at home among plants, you'll fit right in. A starting list — but if you make something we haven't thought of, pitch us anyway.
Sniff-and-sip blending, botanical fragrance, room-spray making.
Pour-your-own soy candles and botanical wax melts.
Arranging, wreaths and seasonal botanical workshops.
Paint-a-pot and hand-build evenings — a natural fit with our shelves.
Sip-and-sketch sessions using our plants and sculpture as subjects.
Pairing evenings alongside our South African wines.
Sound baths, breathwork and gentle yoga among the greenery.
Daytime cuppings and herbal blending to activate quieter hours.
Facilitators running away-days that need a room with character.
How it works
Send us your idea, your format and your audience using the form below. A paragraph is plenty to start.
We agree a date, capacity, the bar and drinks, and a commercial model that suits you both.
We feature it on our own channels and put it forward for the wider CDY listings where we can. You promote to your following, and we cross-tag.
You run your workshop; we run the bar and the room. Guests leave with something made — and a memory.
