Vintage Dark Pot S - Nº 104
A small vintage dark pot, hand-thrown in unglazed earthenware from Shanxi province in China and dating from the 1950s. These pots are handmade and carry the beautiful aged patina of genuine vintage stoneware, the dark, earthy tones working as easily in a modern interior as a traditional one.
As a handmade vintage piece, it shows the subtle variations and signs of age that make it one of a kind — lovely holding a small plant or simply standing as a decorative object.
Because the clay is unglazed, it's best kept away from direct contact with water; for displays or planting, use an inner container or plant liner to guard against seepage.
