The Petra planter brings together two signatures of Mastrangelo's design practice for Indigenus: the precision of a drum-like cylinder form and the organic, rock-like texture of 'Petra'. The contrast between the geometric structure and the rough-hewn surface is the piece's defining feature.
One of the most complex designs Indigenus has produced, Petra pushes beyond the studio's earlier work into something more eclectic and demanding. Suited to interiors and exteriors alike, for hospitality, residential or corporate settings, it stands well alone or in a grouped arrangement.
