    Artisanal Design & Heritage

The jug features a bulbous body that tapers gracefully into a flared rim, accented by meticulous hand-etched detailing. A series of horizontal parallel lines encircle the neck, punctuated by a delicate band of vertical incisions that add a rhythmic, tactile quality to the piece.

Hand-Carved Integrity: The angular, sturdy handle is integrated directly into the body, showcasing the carver's mastery over the medium.

Rich Patina: The deep, chocolate-brown finish reflects decades of handling and traditional curing, giving the wood a soft, organic luster.

Cultural Significance: In Bayaleng culture, such vessels were often used for serving palm wine or water, standing as symbols of hospitality and communal gathering.
