African grain stompers are made by hollowing out tree trunks and large branches, which were then used to grind grain. They look beautiful as planters, or turned upside down as a stool or plant stand — or simply standing as a piece of sculpture.
Beautiful patina from age, often with metal embellishments and repair work from when these pieces were used in the field.
Size: approx. 26cm diameter × 50cm H.
