Vintage Lion Ears Dark Pot - De04

A vintage dark pot with distinctive lion-ear handles, hand-thrown in unglazed earthenware. These pots come from Shanxi province in China and carry the beautiful aged patina of genuine vintage stoneware, the dark, earthy tones working as easily in a modern interior as a traditional one.
As a handmade vintage piece, it shows the subtle variations and signs of age that make it one of a kind — lovely holding a plant or simply standing as a sculptural object.
Because the clay is unglazed, it's best kept away from direct contact with water; when planting, use a plant liner or inner container to guard against seepage.
