Haldane Martin's Tuber takes its form from the roots and bulbs that sit just beneath the soil, bringing that hidden shape up into the light. It sits as if rooted in the ground: use one on its own, bunch several as a centrepiece, or group them in numbers to create a journey through a large space. Tuber is particularly suited to indoor forest installations.

Solid FSC-certified Iroko, hand-cut and lathe-turned, in a natural or oiled finish. Choose your finish above.
Built to last
- FSC-certified Iroko (African teak), the timber used for centuries to build boats. Naturally rich in oils and resistant to rot and insects.
- Hand-built: thick hand-cut sections, each joined to the next with four stainless steel screws, then turned on a lathe.
- Self-watering liner with a water-level gauge. The reservoir can keep plants watered for up to four weeks.
- Indoors or out: fit the plug indoors; remove it outdoors so rainwater tops up the reservoir.
- Soft-touch feet protect floors and carpets.

Each planter is made by hand in Indigenus's own workshop once you order, in the size and finish you choose. This is a large, heavy piece, so the shipping shown at checkout is a guide price: after you order we arrange a courier quote for your address and confirm the final cost before dispatch.
