Preserved Moss Art (Victorian Frame)

A bold, sculptural statement piece for the modern interior. This hand-crafted moss artwork features two sweeping circular forms arranged in a dynamic composition, created entirely from preserved bun moss and mounted onto a bespoke one off Victorian ceiling press frame. 

The generous mounds of bun moss catch light beautifully, creating rich depth and texture across the surface — no two pieces are ever identical. The Victorian ceiling press frame dates back to 1800’s were originally used for ceiling decoration and have spots of the old paint and plaster where they have been painted over the years.  Sourced in South Africa these frames are beautifully presented with our moss art work and each piece is 100% bespoke not one made the same as the other.
