Stellar Planter
The calabash-shaped Stellar planter is
characterised by a form that feels universal,
occurring in cultural histories around the world,
from Africa, Europe, the Americas and beyond.
The Stellar follows a handmade, textural
design, anchored in the soulfulness that Africa
brings.
Zizipho Poswa, a South African sculptor and
ceramic artist celebrated for her monumental
ceramic and bronze work, was the obvious
choice, with the shape we were drawn to
already present in her practice.
Despite the complexity of its handmade
character, the Stellar contributes in abundance
to the look and feel of any space. Designed to
stand together or independently, the Stellar
planters have been crafted to support larger
plants and trees
