Vintage Tutsi Stomper - Rwanda - 91.1

African grain stompers are handmade by hollowing out tree trunks, which were then used to grind grain. We recycle them as planters, vases or interior objects with a rich history.
Beautiful patina from age, often with metal embellishments and repair work from when these pieces were used in the field.
