Tutsi bangles are hand-carved from local indigenous wood and inlaid with metal such as copper. Traditionally worn by the Tutsi people to protect the wrist from the recoil of a bowstring, which can catch and bruise as it releases.
Each bangle is unique — no two are the same. They look beautiful displayed as a bespoke piece of art, and even better as a pair. Each comes with its own bespoke display stand.
Size: approx. 20cm L × 22cm H × 8cm D.
