A hand-carved Senufo Kpelié mask from the Ivory Coast, West Africa. Kpelié masks are among the best-known Senufo carvings — fine-featured faces worn in ceremonial dance, particularly within the Poro society, at funerals and other community rites to honour ancestors and mark important events.
This piece carries a finely carved face crowned with an antelope sculpture, a rich dark patina with subtle natural highlights, and is mounted on a sturdy metal display stand. A striking piece for collectors, cultural interiors, or travel-inspired décor.
Size: approx. 52cm H × 17cm × 15cm (including stand).
