Pilea or Chinese money plant is a really beautifully shaped plant with round disc like leaves and are very pleasing to the eye.  They can grow up to 12 inches tall and will shoot out small baby plants.  As they grow they will reach for the most natural light so to avoid the plant growing in one direction, you can rotate them twice a week or place them underneath a skylight will provide a equal amount of natural light to ensure a equal spherical growth.  The baby plants can be propogated once they are at least 3 inches tall.  The plant will need re-potting every 2 to 3 years to allow it to grow bigger.

Watering:  Let the top inch of soil dry out between watering, usually once per week.  If the plant becomes too dry the leaves will droop.  Allow the soil to be kept moist and occassional misting of the leaves will be good for the plant.  These plants are happiest in good humid conditions, so keep that soil lightly moist but not wet.

Lighting:  Pilea do prefer a bright room but avoid direct Sunlight.  South facing or East facing windows.
