A lidded Mancala board carved in the shape of a crocodile, with two rows of six holes for playing Oware — the variant of Mancala traditionally played in Ghana, where the game is also known as Owari.
Mancala games are played widely across Africa and the Middle East, and are among the oldest count-and-capture games still played today.
