A Chocho or Gorfa milk jug, handmade using traditional Ethiopian techniques with woven sisal fibre and aluminium wire, and waterproofed with beeswax. An attractive, pear-shaped piece for interior display.
The faint smoky aroma comes from a ceremonial cleaning process, in which glowing embers are placed inside to help the beeswax soak into the fibres.
