A vintage dark pot with four decorated ear handles, hand-thrown in unglazed earthenware and bearing the signs of age that make it one of a kind. Originally used to store and cool drinking water, it's left unglazed, decorated only by the irregular, organic smoke patterns of the firing process.
Lovely as a decorative object or a flower vase, with the dark, earthy tones working as easily in a modern interior as a traditional one.
Because the clay is unglazed, it's best kept away from direct contact with water; for displays or planting, use an inner container or plant liner to guard against seepage.
Size: approx. 26cm H × 31cm D. Opening diameter: ~23cm.
