A stunning traditional hand stitched cushion from Ghana. Kente means a Ghanaian textile made using handwoven cloth strips of silk & cotton. The cloth was once worn by royalty in groups such as the Ashanti and Ewe in modern day Ghana. The fabric is used in many ceremonies today.
The cushions have some small patches of what looks like staining but this is only due to the fact the cloth is old original cloth.
The detail individual stitching is beautiful.
Inner cushion included zipped outer cushion.
