Fishing Basket - Tanzania very large

The reeds from which these fish baskets are grown in the floodplains of the Western Province of Zambia. The yearly rains replenish the stock of bream and barbel that provide the Lozi people their sustenance, along with the rice, maize and exotic fruits that flourish in these wetlands.
They are very large and can be installed as lamp shades, big laundry baskets or just as a beautiful piece of hand woven sculpture indoor or outdoor use.
