    They grow as epiphytes which means they grow on other trees but like Air Plants they do not depend on trees for nutrients, they get them from the air. 

    The flower on Bromeliads only bloom once in their lifetime and can last between 3-6 months but they often grow pups so you can enjoy future blooms. 

    Watering : These plants love a good misting but avoid over-watering as the roots do not like being too wet as this causes root rot.
    .
         Light : Keep in a well lit room but avoid direct Sunlight.

    Origin: Originated in the Andes mountains but are found in the warm jungles of Uruguay as well as Central and South America
