A sculptural side table pedestal carved from natural onyx, handcrafted by skilled artisans on the island of Java. Its warm, organic tones and one-of-a-kind veining bring a quiet, grounding presence to a living room, bedroom or office — equally at home holding a lamp, a plant or a stack of books, or standing alone as a sculptural object.
The hollow centre (shown in the final image) keeps its sculptural lightness without losing the solidity and stability of solid stone — and a light can be set inside to make the onyx glow.
Each is carved from natural onyx, so the colour and veining are unique to this piece.
