Dracaena - Dark Green

A beautiful Draceana with dark green leaves can grow up to 7 feet in the home. The leaves are "sword shaped" upto 24" long which are immediately impacting on the eye in a space creating a tropical look and feel. Amongst the beauty of these trees they have air purifying qualities removing toxins from the air such as formaldehyde. Approx 1m tall.
Watering: Allow the top 2" - 3" of soil to dry out before watering. They do not need to be kept moist all of the time.
Light: Likes indirect Sunlight, to avoid direct Sun all day long as it will scorch it's leaves.
Origin: The name Draceana comes from the ancient Greek word "drakaina or "female dragon" as the stem has gum-like resin which is red in the stems.
