  • Philodendron bipinnatifidum - 100cmH x 30cmD

The Philodendron plants will fill up a large corner in your home with big green fleshy leaves.  The plant grows long tenticle like vines, just like a Monstera plant or (Cheese plant) does as they are used in their natural habitat to climb other trees. It can spread to approx 5 feet wide in the home, so its best for a larger space/corner you want to fill with greenery.

Watering:  They like a misting at least once a week and their soil to be kept slightly moist but not wet.  Allow the top 2 inches of the soil to dry out slightly before watering but avoid soil getting too dry as this plant loves moisture.  Never let the plant sit in water to avoid root rot.  To add more humidity place your pot on top of a tray of pebbles with water and the water that evaporates from beneath the pebbles will provide a bit of humidity in the air.

Lighting:  Prefer indirect Sunlight and can tolerate very bright light but not for too long to avoid leaves scorching.  These are tropical plants and grow underneath the canopy of trees in their natural habitats.
