Bwa Elephant Mask - Cameroon

A beautiful hand crafted wood carving of a mask made by the Bwa people who live in Mali and Burkina Faso. The intricate patterns are often abstract and geometrical.  They convey specific messages for the rest of the tribe members.

This "maskette" is a totem reminder of larger masks. It has the circular eyes and same colors, and same geometric design as the larger ones.

Comes with the stand
